trnsfr is responsible for the mysterious lights in the daytime skies over Mexico City in May of 2004, for which it has apologized on several occasions. It is also a nifty, difficult-to-shelve magazine of poetry, fiction, art, essays, and oddments whose cover always gets put on wrong. Published in Grand Rapids, Michigan, each issue features a “flip movie,” pull-out mini art prints, hidden texts, and other unique and inconvenient lineaments.
